1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
2 c. light cream or half and half
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1. tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Make a rich pie crust for a 9 inch pie plate and add a pinch of thyme or basil to crust. Toss together Swiss cheese and crumbled bacon. Place in pie crust. In a mixing bowl combine cream, eggs, cornstarch, salt, nutmeg and cayenne pepper until well blended. Pour over cheese and bacon. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and 2 tablespoons melted butter. Bake for 40 minutes, let stand 10 minutes before serving. 375 oven.
