Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2-3 medium sized fresh tomatoes
1/2 red onion
1 jalapeņo chili pepper
1 serano chili pepper
Juice of one lime
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: oregano and or cumin to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Small dice the tomato, peppers, and the onion. Combine all of the ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Taste. If the chilies make the salsa too hot, add some more chopped tomato. If not hot enough, add a few of the seeds from the chilies, or add some ground cumin.

Let sit for an hour for the flavors to combine.

Makes approximately 3-4 cups.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
You can add black beans to the salsa for a heartier appetizer. Serve with tortilla chips or as a filling for fajitas. Margie, my Crackbaby (it's a Vegas name, and whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas) loves to make salsa...we improvise a bit, particularly after a couple of Margueritas.
