2 1oz. bottles of Red Food Coloring
3 Tbsp. of Cocoa
1/2 Cup of Shortening
1 1/2 Cup of Sugar
2 Eggs
2 1/4 Cups of Flour
1/2 Tsp of Salt
1 Cup of Buttermilk
1 tbsp of Vanilla
1 Tbsp of Vinegar
1 Tsp of Baking Soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix Cocoa and food coloring well, add shortening, sugar, eggs (cream well) sift together flour and salt. Add dry ingredients alternating with buttermilk, then add vanilla. In a small bowl add baking soda and vinegar then add to first mixture quickly.
Bake in 3 8" pans for 20- 25 mins. or until done at 350
