3-4 lbs. meaty "country style" ribs
1 lemon (or lemon juice)
1 onion
1 c. catsup
1/3 c. Worchestershire sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
2 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Place ribs in shallow roasting pan, meaty side up. On each piece, place a slice of unpeeled lemon (or pour on lemon juice) and a thin slice of onion. Roast in very hot oven (450F) for 30 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients: bring to boil and pour over ribs. Continue baking in moderate oven (350F) until tender, about 1-2 hours. Baste ribs with the sauce every 15 minutes. If sauce gets too thick, add more water.
