1c. fresh corn meal
1c. all purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 egg
1 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients together, add egg, oil and milk. Stir only to moisten. For bread: Bake in buttered 9X9" pan. For muffins: Bake in paper lined tins. Bake at 425 oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.

I bake in a hot cast iron skillet that has melted butter in it. I also use a fine ground corn meal I got in a store by Rich Hill that makes this almost like a cake recipe. You can order this by calling 660-476-2431 or kdskorn@yahoo.com
