1 3/4 Cups sifted flour
1/2 Tsp. salt
1/2 Tsp. baking soda
1/2 Cup chopped candied cherries or mixed fruit
1/3 Cup margarine
3/4 Cup sugar
1 Tsp. vanilla
1 Egg
1/4 Cup sour cream
1/2 Cup finely chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, salt and baking soda. Add fruit. Cream butter, sugar and stir in vanilla, egg, fruit mixture and sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Drop by Teaspoons onto cookie sheet and sprinkle with walnuts. Bake in oven at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until edges are slightly brown.
