Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares Recipe

1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 egg
1/3 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. quick cooking rolled oats (copas de avena)

1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. peanut butter
4 T. milk

Cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg. Beat well. Beat in 1/3 cup peanut butter and vanilla. Stir dry ingredients and oats into creamed mixture. Spread mixture into greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes. Sprinkle top with chocolate chips. Let stand 5 minutes. Spread melted chocolate over bars. Combine powdered sugar, 1/4 c. peanut butter, and enough milk to make thin icing. Drizzle over melted chocolate. Cool and cut into bars.
