Everyone in my father's family knows this recipe by heart. My father's mother was an exceptional cook. She opened, managed and expanded probably the best catering company there is in Vina del Mar, Chile. Her catering was called to serve the King of Spain when he went for an official lunch at the President's house in Vina del Mar. Anyway, she was a very busy woman, who always had something wonderful on the table. When time was short, she would whip this together as a quick, easy and delicious dessert.
