1 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 c. raw peanuts
4 tsp. salt
1 T. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
glass candy thermometer

Directions:
Directions:
In a glass bowl, mix sugar, corn syrup, peanuts and salt. Microwave on high 8-9 minutes; mixture will be light brown in color. Add butter and vanilla, mix well and microwave on high 1 1/2 -3 minutes to hard crack stage. Add soda; stir quickly and pour out onto well-buttered cookie sheet. Let cool and harden completely before breaking into pieces.
