1 1/2 T. paprika
1 tsp. garlic powder
Water

Lean brisket

Directions:
Directions:
Mix salt, paprika and garlic powder with enough water to make a paste. Spread over entire roast. Grill on medium heat 30 minutes on each side. Wrap in heavy foil, sealing edges tight, and bake at 325 for 2 - 3 more hours. Your favorite barbecue sauce can be added before baking in the oven. This gives the meat extra moisture.

Alternative cooking method: If you skip the grilling step, wrap the meat in heavy foil and bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 2 or more hours.
