Boil together:
3 c. water
1 stick butter

In large bowl, mix:
3 c. instant potato flakes
1 c. powdered milk
1 T. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Add the water/butter mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well. Cover and cool overnight.

Mix with 1 1/2 c. flour. Shape into a log and cut into 16 slices. Roll into rounds on floured pastry board. Bake on lefse griddle, flipping midway through. Cover with a towel until cool.
