1 large knuckle bone
6 marrow bones
1/2 - 1 # beef stew meat, cut in small pieces
3 quarts water
2 t. beef bouillon paste
1 quart tomato juice
1 onion, chopped
2-3 ribs celery, sliced
2-3 carrots, chopped
3 potatoes, cubed
2 c. green beans
1 c. corn
1 bay leaf
salt & pepper, to your taste

Directions:
Directions:
Put soup bones and meat, 3 quarts water, salt, pepper, celery, onion and bay leaf to a boil. in a large stock pot. Simmer 2-3 hours skimming off fat and foam. Add remaining ingredients and simmer till potatoes and carrots are soft.

This is wonderful with Grandma Harris' homemade noodles. Make noodles and add to soup 5 min before serving. Holds up great in freezer to save for another day!!
