1 lb. ground beef
8 cups water
6 tsps. Beef base (or beef bouillon cubes)
1 15 oz. can crushed tomatoes or diced tomatoes
cup dried onion flakes
4 cups cabbage, sliced very thinly
1 medium zucchini, cut into small cubes
cup uncooked brown rice

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef in skillet, drain and place in soup pot. Add water, beef base (or cubes), dried onion and tomatoes. Bring to a boil for about 10 minutes.
Add cabbage, zucchini and brown rice.
Turn heat to low, cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
