"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

4 eggs
1 package vanilla instant pudding
ĺ cup oil
ĺ cup sherry
1 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions:
Beat all ingredients together for 2 minutes.

Pour into a greased and lightly floured Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees 45 minutes or so (until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean--but donít overbake). (Since every cake mix now seems to come with pudding already in it, I keep wondering if we can just omit the vanilla pudding from the recipe--which comes from the 1960ís).

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I got this recipe from Betty Sacknitz, with whom I used to teach at Grace Davis High School. Betty was a big lady with a big voice. One day in my second year of teaching, she burst into my classroom and accused me of taking the movie projector from her classroom. I hadnít. It was a tense moment, and the students were very interested. Betty and I became good friends afterwards, and she gave me this recipe, which has become an old standby of the family.
