1 c butter
1 c shortening
1 c powdered sugar
1 c white sugar
2 beaten eggs
4 c flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and shortening, add sugars and eggs. Add flour sifted with cream of tartar and soda. Add vanilla. Mix and roll into small balls, flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes
