¾ cup lemon juice
¾ cup white wine
½ teaspoon pepper
2 cloves garlic
½ teaspoon ginger
½ big onion

Directions:
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth:

Cut turkey tenderloins in half so as to make them thinner and flatter. Marinate them in the sauce several hours or overnight. Barbecue over a gentle heat. Reserve the leftover marinade. Boil it well to be sure there are no bad micro-organisms from the raw turkey, and pass it to pour over.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Barbecued turkey was a team endeavor when Grandma and Grandpa lived on Camellia Street. Grandma took care of the marinating, and Grandpa was the barbecue chef. They would cook up a huge roasting pan full of turkey tenderloins. Grandma served this dish with rice pilaf, green salad, and French bread.
