1 T. butter
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic
1 can green chilis
3 T. flour
2 tsp. cumin
2 cans northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 14.5 oz. can chicken broth
1 1/2 c. diced chicken

Garnish:
Shredded Monterey Jack cheese
sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
In Dutch oven, saute garlic and onion in butter; until tender. Add chilis, flour, and cumin; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add beans and broth; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until thickened. Add chicken. Cook until hot. Serve with garnishes.
