1 lb. ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped green pepper
2 cans stewed tomatoes (14.5 oz each)
1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
1 can Fiesta Chili beef soup
2 teaspoons chili powder
¼ teaspoon cayenne red pepper
¼ teaspoon paprika
1 can kidney beans, drained (15 ½ oz)
add salsa to taste

Cook and stir beef, onion and green pepper in large skillet until meat is brown and onion is tender
Drain fat
Stir in remaining ingredients
Cook uncovered 45 minutes
Serves 6

This is the basic recipe handed down to me from Mom. To this recipe, I add a few secret ingredients, which I cannot at this time reveal. I can only give you a hint: the recipe gets a lot spicier. This chili recipe has won chili cook-off competitions in three states and has never lost a chili competition in which it has been entered (no guarantees without the secret ingredients though).
