2 1-lb packages of stew meat
Salt and pepper
Sliced or chopped onions--amount is your decision.
5-6 potatoes peeled and cut up
Miniature carrots--1 or 2 pounds
Chopped celery (optional)
2 cans of tomato soup
1 can of cream of mushroom soup.

Directions:
Directions:
Spray bottom and sides of roasting pan.

Put in stew meat. Salt and pepper it. Cover with sliced or chopped onions--amount is your decision.

Add potatoes for next layer and cover with miniature carrots.
(Sometimes I chop up some celery to put on top of carrots.)

Pour tomato soup (no milk added) and cream of mushroom soup over the top.

Cover tightly and bake at 250 for 5 hours. Stir 1 time during baking--if you're around!
