3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) margarine
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
3/8 cup whipping cream
4 tbsp. corn syrup
1 cup pecans (chopped)
1 box chocolate cake mix, and ingredients to make cake mix according to box

Directions:
Directions:
In a 2 qt. saucepan mix margarine, brown sugar, whipping cream, & corn syrup. Boil for at least 1 minute. Pour into a 9x13 pan.
Sprinkle pecans over mixture.
Prepare chocolate cake mix according to directions on box. SPOON cake batter over topping starting along the outside and working toward the middle. (If you pour the batter, it won't work).
Bake at 325 for 45 minutes or until done. Let set for 10-15 minutes. Turn over onto plate (like a pineapple upside down cake).
Let cool completely, then top with whip topping.
