Ingredients:
Red lettuce (or you could use Romaine)
2 Bosc or Anjou pears, sliced
Marie's Poppy seed dressing
Crumbled bleu cheese
Almonds, caramelized gently in a pan with a little sugar

Directions:
Basically you throw everything in a bowl and toss it. :) There aren't any measurements that I know of- it's all just to taste. The hardest part for me is caramelizing the almonds- I always burn the sugar, so just watch the almonds and sugar carefully when you have them in the frying pan. When the sugar starts to turn golden brown, take the pan off the heat.

I don't usually use the whole jar of poppy seed dressing because it makes the salad soggy. (But of course that depends on the size of the salad you're making.)

I got this from my friend Hilary. I think she got it from her mom.
