6 eggs
3 cups of flour
3 cups of sugar
1 1/2 cups of hot milk
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 300 F;
2. Butter a cake mold;
3. Beat the egg whites until stiff;
4. Add the egg yolks, mixing gently;
5. Mix in the melted butter, the warm milk and the rest of the ingredients;
6. Place the mix in the buttered mold and put in the oven for about one hour, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

This recipe is from my grandparents' cookbook. It is a light dough. If you cook it on a cookie sheet, instead of in a cake pan, it is good for filling and rolling up. For that, it's important to unmold, fill and roll up while still a bit warm (but not hot).
