2 c. warm water (110-112 degrees)
2 packaged active dry yeast
1/2 c. sugar
2 t. salt
c. soft shortening
1 egg
6 to 7 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in sugar, salt, shortening and egg. Add flour cup by cup until dough can be rolled into a ball. Grease or oil dough, rolled into a ball. Place in large, sturdy plastic bag and store in refrigerator. Pinch off dough to form rolls about 2 hours before baking. Cover and let rise. Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes. Makes 4 dozen medium rolls.
