Ingredients:  
1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup butter
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup milk
2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup light raisins
1/2 cup candied cherries
1/2 cup candied lemon or citron peel

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter together. Stir in eggs. Add milk, flour and baking powder alternately into mixture.

Add raisins, cherries and peel to mixture. Pour into 4 1/2" x 9 1/2" cake tin.

Bake for 1 hour in a pre-heated 325 F oven
