5 or 6 large carrots, cut into large chunnks, or a bag of baby ones, or 2 yams sliced (or both)
1 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
2 granny smith apples, sliced
2 tsp cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients together, coat the vegetables and apples in the mixture. Layer in a casserole dish, dot with butter. Bake at 350 for 30-40 min or until vegetables are cooked- ( I don't really know how long I usually just keep checking)
