Directions:

Two cups of brown sugar, one cup of sweet milk. Boil together until it forms a soft ball in cold water. Flavor with vanilla and set away to cool. Stir in butter the size of an egg and beat until cool enough to pour out into a buttered pan. Cut in squares. Coconut, peanut butter or walnuts may be added if
