5 T shortening
t. salt
c sugar
t. nutmeg
1 egg beaten
c. milk
1 c. flour
1 t. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg. Sift dry ingredients into mixture. Drop by spoon into greased muffin pan. Bake at 325 until done. When done dip tops into melted butter, then into powdered sugar.
