Ingredients:  
1 can (16 oz) crushed tomatoes
2/3 cup dry red wine
1/2 cup beef broth
1/4 cup quick cooking tapioca
1 T. sugar
2 tsp. Italian herb seasoning
2 tsp. salt
2 small bay leaves
1/2 tsp. pepper
12 oz. mushrooms
3 lbs. cubed lean boneless beef chuck or other lean beef (or tenderloin)
6 carrots quartered
2 medium onions cut in quarters

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325. Mix in Dutch oven first 10 ingredients, stir in beef then add carrots and onion. Cover and bake about 3 hours. Stir twice during that time. Or cook 8 hrs. on low in slow cooker.
