cup Crisco
cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cup flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream Crisco, butter, and sugar. Add egg lightly beaten. Mix well. Add vanilla and the flour sifted with baking powder. Put in refrigerator and chill until firm. Form into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Stick one or two whole clover in each ball. Bake at 350 until light brown. Roll in powdered sugar. When cold roll the second time in powdered sugar. Yields about 3 dozen
