Cream together:
3/4 c. crisco
1 3/4 c. sugar
add 2 eggs - beat well
sift together:
2 c. flour
1/2 t. soda
1/2 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
add dry ingredients with 1/3 c. buttermilk
add 1 c. mashed bananas
1 c. chopped pecans
1 t. vanilla

Grease pan and bake in 2 bread pans for 1 hour at 325.
