2 1/2 cup chopped dates
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 cup nuts
1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs, beaten
4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dates, sugar and water, cook 10 minutes, when thick, add nuts. Set aside. Combine rest of ingredients, chill. Roll out dough, spread with nut mixture, chill, slice and bake at 375 10-12 minutes
