1c. maraschino cherries halved
1/4c. maraschino-cherry juice
1c. cut-up dried figs
1c. silvered dates
1c. cut up sliced canned pineapple
1/2c. pineapple juice
1/2c. sugar
1/2c. slivered blanched almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all fruit and cherry juice. (If figs and dates need softening, cover with boiling water and let stand for 3 minutes. Then drain).

Combine pineapple juice and sugar in small saucepan, bring to boil and let boil 2 minutes.

Pour over fruit. Cool.

Add almonds and chill well before serving over vanilla ice cream.
