1 cup of butter
1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream utter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. In a different bowl, mix flour and salt. Blend slowly into creamed mixture. Mix in nuts and chill dough for at least 2 hours.

Remove from refrigerator; heat oven to 400 degrees;
Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 -12 minutes or until set but not browned. While warm, roll in powdered sugar; then roll again when cool.
