2 c. all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter, room temperature
2 eggs, room temperature
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 8” square pan. In medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a small bowl, combine 1/4 c. sugar and cinnamon. Using an electric mixer, beat together butter and 1 c. sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, then sour cream and vanilla. Fold in flour mixture until just combined. Pour half the batter into the cake pan and sprinkle with half the cinnamon sugar and half the chocolate chips. Spoon the remaining batter as evenly as possible over the filling, spreading gently. Sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar and chocolate chips. Bake until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 30–35 minutes.
