12 c. popped corn (1/2 c. dry or 1 1/2 bags microwave)
3 c. mixed, unsalted nuts, optional
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Put popped corn in a 9x13 pan in a 250º F oven. In a 2 qt. saucepan on medium heat, cook brown sugar, corn syrup, margarine, and salt. Stir until it boils. Then let it boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; add vanilla and baking soda. Pour over popcorn. Stir. Bake at 250º F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. After 1 hour, pour onto waxed paper or parchment paper to cool. When cool, break apart.
