1 egg
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. oil
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk (or 1 T. vinegar or lemon juice mixed with 1c. milk)

Swirl topping:
1/2 c. sugar
1 T. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg, sugar and oil. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk. Combine 1/2 c. sugar with cinnamon. Place 1/2 batter in pan, sprinkle with 1/2 cinnamon/sugar mix. Repeat. Swirl with knife. Bake in a greased 9x5 loaf pan at 350º F for 45-55 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan to rack.
