2-8 oz. cream cheese, softened (450 g.)
8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained (I chop up 4-5 pineapple rings, and pat dry)
1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
2 T. finely chopped onion
2 tsp. salt (seasoned, if desired*)
1 1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts.
Assorted crackers

Directions:
In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, pineapple, green pepper, onion and salt until blended; cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Shape into 1 or 2 balls; roll in walnuts. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Serve with crackers. You may need to refrigerate the cheese mixture before shaping it into a ball.

*seasoned salt: 1 tsp. salt plus dash of the following: pepper, chili powder, marjoram, parsley, garlic salt, curry, onion salt and cumin.
