1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 cup rice
2 tsp salt
pepper
1 onion - chopped
Large cabbage leaves
Sauerkraut
Tomato puree

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the first five ingredients together. Cook cabbage leaves in boiling water for 5 minutes.. Remove and drain. Put a small handful of meat mixture in cabbage leaf and roll up. Stick a toothpick in to hold together. Put a layer of sauerkraut in bottom of large pan, then single layer of cabbage rolls over the sauerkraut. Pour tomato puree over top to cover. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
