4 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup oil
4 teaspoons soda
4 cups buttermilk
1 1/3 cups white flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup raisins, dates, or nuts (optional)

Directions:

Stir together and pour into 2 greased bread pans. Cook at 350º for 1 hour.
