Combine oil, salt and thyme in bowl then rub it over the tureky with your hands. Place turkey in Fool-Proof cooking bag, roasting pan with sides at least 2 inches high, or place breast side up on rack and cover with foil. Do not add water. Bake at 350 for 2/3 of the determined cooking time. Using large knife begin to cut thigh and leg from breast so dark meat gets done before the breast is dry. Thigh should reach 180 degrees without thermometer touching bone and breast should reach 170 degrees. When done let sit 15 minutes before removing leg and thigh and wings. Cut breast meat parallel to the breast bone.

For Cranberries:
Check cranberries for debris or any spoiled ones. Cook good cranberries with 1 cup water on med heat till cranberries start to pop open. Add package of jello and stir 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in crushed pineapple and its juice.Chill overnight.
