Olive oil
Green peppers (sliced)
Carrots (sliced)
Fresh mushrooms (sliced)
Broccoli florettes
Asparagus (cut in to small pieces)
Almond slivers (toasted)
Chow Mein noodles
Rice noodles
Soy sauce
Hoisin sauce
Choice of steak / chicken / shrimp

Add olive oil to bottom of a frying pan or wok, than add green peppers, carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, and cook for 5 minutes. Add the sliced steak / chicken / shrimp and cook until done. Cook rice noodles in a separate pot of boiling water, drain and add to pan. Add soy and hoisin sauces to taste and continue to cook until sauce has thickened. If the sauce is to thin, add a slurry of corn starch. Add chow mein noodles, mixing well. Add slivered almonds and serve.
