1 unbaked 9 pastry shell
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 cup wheat germ (optional)
1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
2 small zucchini, coarsely shredded
1/2 cup jack cheese, shredded
3 eggs
1 tbsp. flour
1-1/2 cup light cream
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. pepper

Bake unpricked pastry shell in a 450 degree oven for only 5 minutes. Remove pastry shell and reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees. Generously spread butter over bottom and sides of the pastry shell, then sprinkle with wheat germ if desired. Top with a layer of the Swiss cheese, followed by onion, zucchini and jack cheese. In bowl, beat eggs, flour, light cream, salt, and pepper together and pour over the other ingredients in the pastry shell. Return pie to oven and continue baking at 325 degrees for 35 40 minutes until knife inserted just off-center comes out clean.
