Directions:
Put chips and evaporated milk into a 3 quart saucepan. Stir over low heat until chocolate melts completely. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and salt. Beat in 4 1/2 cups powdered sugar one cup at a time until well mixed. Chill mixture until firm enough to shape, about 1 hour. Put half of the chilled mixture between sheets of waxed paper and shape into a log about 10 inches long. Repeat for rest of mixture. Roll logs in 1 cup finely cut nut or coconut until well coated. Wrap in waxed paper and chill. Make two 10 inch logs. With sharp knife, slice each into about 24 pieces.
