6 Med. sized red skin potatoes cooked and cut into smaller pieces
6 slices of bacon
3/4 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
3/4 cups water
1/3 cup cider vinegar


Fry bacon till very crisp, drain and then chop into pieces and put aside.
In the bacon fat cook the chopped onions and cook till translucent and just starting to turn brown on edges. Add all dry ingredients at once while you stir with a wooden spoon, quickly add the water and vinegar and stir well. Let simmer for about two minutes.Now add the cut potatoes and chopped bacon to the sauce. mix well and serve warm.
