Cake:
4 cups finely chopped apple
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs

Topping:
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 stick butter

Whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cake: Mix together apples and sugar, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add 2 eggs and mix well. Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon, salt. Add to apple mixture and mix well. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes in a well greased and floured cake pan.

Topping: Put together in saucepan brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla and butter. Stir until butter melts. Pour over hot cake. Serve warm with whipped cream.
