3 T. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 eggs
3 T. water
1/3 cup finely crushed saltines
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. dried basil
4 beef cube steaks
3 T. oil
1 1/4 cups tomato sauce
2 1/4 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. dried oregano, divided
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
4 slices mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

In shallow bowl, combine the flour, salt and pepper. In another bowl, beat eggs and water. Place crackers, grated cheese and basil in third bowl.Coat steaks with flour mixture, then egg, and coat with crackers. Brown in oil 2-3 minutes on each side till golden.
Place in greased 13x9 baking dish for 25 minutes at 375. Combine tomato sauce, sugar, 1/4 tsp. oregano, and garlic powder; spoon over meat. Bake 10 minutes, top with mozzarella and sprinkle with Parmesan and remaining oregano.. Bake till cheese is melted.
