1 lb. Italian Sausages
2 tblsps. oil
1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, chopped
2 green peppers, sliced
4 to 8 large mushrooms, quartered
1 oz. brandy
1/2 cup red wine
1/2 can tomato paste
1/2 to 1 cup chicken or beef bouillon
1 bay leaf
1/4 TSR basil
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Cut sausages in half. Heat oil in skillet and cook sausages over medium heat 5 minutes, browning. Keep covered while browning. Add garlic, onion, peppers, & mushrooms, and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add remaining ingredients and pour into casserole dish. Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour.

Serve over pasta, rice, or Italian bread.
