1 package devils food cake mix (chocolate)
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. plus 1/3 c. undiluted evaporated milk, divided
10 oz. Caramels
1 pack 6 oz. shoe chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cake mix and nuts. Cut in butter. Stir in 1/2 c. evaporated milk . Spread half of butter in greased cake pan. Bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes. in saucepan combine caramel and 1/3 c. milk. Sprinkle chocolate pieces over baked layer. Drizzle caramel over chocolate pieces. Drop remaining butter over caramel layer. bake 350º for 20-25 minutes.Top will be soft. Cool.
