2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
salt to flavor
hot water (as hot as what your hands can stand)

Directions:
Mix dry ingredients well. Start off with 2 cups of hot water, adding a little more till dough is not to a dry texture. You should be able to press your finger into the dough leaving a finger mark with no effort. If you happen to add to much water, just add a little more tortilla mix. Make golf ball size balls with the dough. Flatten with tortilla press. Deep fat fry. Once you place the in oil, submerge the dough alternating sides till the center puffs up. They should puff to a ball. Fry till golden brown on both sides. Take out and set on paper towel. Cut along the side of the gordita half way. Fill bottom half with the Gordita Filling. Finish with lettuce, tomato, and salsa.
