1 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon almond flavoring
2 2/3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder

2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Beat butter until light; add 1 1/2 cups sugar and beat until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla and almond flavoring. Sift together flour, baking soda and baking powder; add to beaten mixture.
Chill for 1 hour.
Combine 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
Shape dough in small balls, about 1", and roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Place 2" apart on a
greased baking sheet. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) about 8-10 minutes.
